Used by God to raise up the modern day era of God's church on earth, Herbert W. Armstrong, as Paster General of the church of God and chairman of the Ambassador International Cultural Foundation (no longer active), became an international ambassador for world peace, visiting many world leaders, in China, England, India, Pakistan, Thailand, many nations of Africa, Europe, and many islands of the seas, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God to the leaders of various nations he visited and to many peoples of the earth via the World Tomorrow Telecast (no longer active). Mr. Armstrong died in 1986.
